Slam the slam
What is it with slamming? Everyone seems to be slamming when I pick up the paper or read news on the web. In the world of football, they love doing it. Especially if it's one international regulative body slamming another. Police chiefs enjoy slamming the occasional scheme and politicians love nothing more than to slam a good proposal. Does anyone actually use "slam" in normal conversation apart from the physical description of perhaps two vehicles colliding? Stop "slamming" everyone. Its just weird.
